This Training includes, but is not limited to:

  • Give you all the tools needed to successfully fly solo
  • The ability to analyze and make good decisions about your take-off landing zone (LZ) choices, weather conditions, airspace, and equipment
  • All efficient and safe take-off/landing techniques
  • Basic flight maneuvers and flight path
  • Any and all USPPA ratings you qualify for
Ryze Paramotor is a certified USPPA school. This means that all instructors have been trained with the highest industry standards. The training is developed and based on the USPPA syllabus training course (find details here). This is the most efficient and safest way to learn all about paramotoring step-by-step.
The secret to succeeding in this course is practice, practice, practice. Get ready to master glider control with a lot of guided ground handling. These are the most fundamental skills you need as a beginner and the most important for a successful and safe flight!

Two Basic Training options are available:

Both trainings will bring you to autonomous flight ability, PPG1 and PPG2 ratings.

Come train with us on the privately own 10 acres airfield in Central Oregon!
Ask us for lodging or bring your RV, van, tent or trailer at the airfield.

This option is best if you have a block of 8 to 10 days to reserve for making your dream come true. It’s the fastest and most intense way to learn. You are going to live, eat, and breathe paramotoring for 10 days! We will alternate from practice sessions to theoretical classes and many exercises to get you ready for your first flight. Warning: this training is physically demanding if you are not sure about your ability, give us a call!
Couldn’t get enough flights to leave the nest on your own after 10 days? No worries, once you sign up for your training with us, you are part of the Ryze family and get as much support as you need! You are welcome to come back any time for more coaching and practice.

You have a family, a full career, or simply can’t get away for 10 days? No problem! We offer After Work Basic Training! This option allows you to work with your trainer to create a schedule that works for you.
Training will be break down in 2 long weekends.
“After work and Weekend” training is shorter in time but take longer to complete. You will receive the same complete education as The Camp Training. It will depend on your ability to learn, your skillset, and the weather conditions. If you need more time to build more flight time and/or confidence, we will schedule more time on demand. Once you sign up for your training, you are part of the Ryze family and get as much support as you need!

Rentals

It is highly recommended to get your gear with Ryze Paramotor before training.

In case you don’t have your gear yet, Ryze Paramotor offers limited rentals services for the camp training only.
You will get the top-of-the-line paramotor, a wing adapted to your level and weight range, and a helmet with clear communication device.
Equipment rental is $1000 per training* (more details on request)

Paraglide to Paramotor

If you are already a paraglider pilot and want to transition to Paramotoring, we offer special pricing for P-2 holders and higher ratings.
